Hi Rick. r u ok? .. it’s amazing that you can go fast to your great goal. i’m on the way that you are. i’m going to build my CCNP/CCIE home lab and prepare myself for the CCIE. but unlike you i have many problems in front of me that hope to solve all of them one by one. congratulations to you. i’m waiting to see your 3rd CCIE. I promise that you can have all of 6 CCIE as soon as possible. good luck.

    Mr. Mur,

You are one focused individual and an inspiration to us all.

When studying for your Cisco certs do you rent rack time or do you have a study lab or possibly both?

I also wanted to get your opinion on the following:

I want to know if you think my existing lab is adequate for CCNA study. If I need extra equipment I want to make sure that I can also use it for CCNP study as well.

So here is what I got.

    1841 2FE, 2 T-1 Wics V2
    2620 1FE, 2 T-1 Wics V1
    2611 2E, 2 T-1 Wics V1
    2610 2E, 2 T-1 Wics V1

    2 2950 T Switches

I was told that I can connect the routers via T-1 cross over cable. I have those on order. However I have been advised I will not be able to use my 1841 because the V1 and V2 Wics cannot be crossed in this fashion.

Should I stick with what I got for now? Or would it make sense to get 2 more 2600XMs and toss the regular old 2600s?

    Thanks

    Roger Lissade
